I didn't check the wiring, I never took that light off the car. But it will be time to change because the right turn signal does not work and some brake light diodes. It would be fine if this could be fixed if a new one cannot be found

I don't think it's necessary to have it, but as I believe you know, I would love to have such a third brake light. I kind of like it.
I glanced, that light has underneath, some 6 screws very small.

It depends on the method they used to close the housing. If it's glued it can be a bit tricky but not impossible. Most of the times it is possible to open it with heat. If it's screwed, it should be very easy, maybe you need a soldering iron.
